Missions
The core values of Riverside certainly include missions and outreach. We respond to Jesus'
Great Commission by taking the Gospel not only to our city, but to our world.
In recent summers, we have led a mission trip to our own community of Rainier, Oregon. These
days of outreach gave anyone who was interested the opportunity to practice evangelism and
selfless service for a whole week without leaving home.
We train and prepare mission team members to go to Fiji every other year and yet there is a
desire to go even more often than that. In Fiji, we preach the Gospel in small crusade settings
and see God back up His Word with miraculous signs and wonders. Ministry opportunities have
opened up in Haiti as well.
Riverside Church wants to equip disciples, of all ages, to go wherever in the world Jesus calls
them to go.
